The Commission on Audit (COA) and Capiz State University (CAPSU) convened for an exit conference on April 13, 2026, at the Central Administration Boardroom to discuss the audit results for Calendar Year 2025.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Mark Lawrence A. Odrunia, State Auditor III of COA, together with CAPSU officials Atty. Toche Vic B. Doce, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Finance, and Ms. Maribel B. Tuante, Chief Accountant.

During the conference, Mr. Odrunia presented the audit team’s observations and corresponding recommendations aimed at enhancing the University’s financial management and operational efficiency.

The meeting saw a strong presence from university leadership led by Dr. Efren L. Linan, University President. He was joined by department and campus heads, as well as finance, supply, and budget officers.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Linan expressed appreciation to the COA team for their professionalism and objective assessment. He reaffirmed the University’s steadfast commitment to regulatory compliance and the prudent utilization of public funds, ensuring that resources are maximized for the benefit of all stakeholders.
