TuazonPublication Assistant Capiz State University (CAPSU) student leaders bagged awards in the 26th Annual National Convention for Student Leaders and 42nd Annual National Convention and of Campus Advisers organized by the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers (PACSA), Inc. held at the Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City, March 8-11. This year’s theme is “CONNECTIVITY 2023: Leadership Essentials, E-nnovation-driven, Adversity Resilience, Dynamic Energy (LEAD) through Borderless Community”. Ms. Joana Zinna Alasaas, a Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP) officer from CAPSU Roxas City main campus, clinched the title Ms. Philippine Association of Campus Student Leaders (PACSL) 1st Runner-up and recognized as Ms. Photogenic of this year’s pageant. Mr. Mhel Amar, an FLP officer from CAPSU Roxas City main campus, proclaimed as the champion in the poster making contest. Being the 2019 PACSL champion in the aforementioned competition, he proved once again that he truly deserves to win. Ms. Helrose Mae Caldeo, an FLP officer from CAPSU Roxas City main campus, secured 2nd place both in on-the-spot poetry making contest and hip-hop competition. Ms. Favie Gelyn Bardinas, FLP President from CAPSU Burias campus, won 2nd place in hip-hop competition. Ms. Danieca Garbo, Supreme Student Council (SSC) President from CAPSU Tapaz satellite college, won 3rd place in poster making contest. With the outstanding representation and performance of the CAPSUnians in the national arena, it only shows that CAPSU is not only the home of top-notchers but also the abode of beautiful and talented individuals.
