Showcasing excellence in leadership, business, and research, delegates from the College of Management scores major awards and leadership posts at the 35th Council of Management Educators and Professionals of the Philippines (COMEPP) National Conference held on November 12–14, 2025, at the Iloilo Grand Hotel in Iloilo City.

Faculty members Dr. Pearl Joy G. Mirasol and Prof. Sarah Jane Malayang, together with fourth-year Marketing Management students Jeremiah Dajay and Querick Javen Barona, represented the university at the national gathering.
Dr. Mirasol’s research, “Entrepreneurial Resilience and Digital Adaptation: Exploring Business Transformation in Times of Adversity,” was hailed champion in the Faculty Research Category, alongside her election as Board of Director of COMEPP Western Visayas, while Dajay’s meme-based study “Meme it to Win It: Analyzing the Effects of Humorous Memes Posted Online on Customer Purchase Intent,” earned 2nd Runner-Up in the Professional Oral Student Research Presentation.
Furthermore, Prof. Malayang and Barona likewise joined the leadership roster after being elected as Board Members of COMEPP Western Visayas.
The annual COMMEPP National Conference, organized in partnership with St. Paul University, gathered delegates from more than 40 higher education institutions nationwide to highlight emerging insights in business sustainability, innovation, and the evolving landscape of management education in the Philippines.
