The Capiz State University (CAPSU) received a Certificate of Recognition during the 2025 Annual Convention of the Iskolar ng Landbank Program (ILP) held on September 18–20, 2025, at the Landbank Plaza, Malate, Manila. The award highlighted CAPSU’s commitment and active partnership in advancing the objectives of the scholarship program.
On behalf of CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan, Dr. Jay Ann B. Gregorio, Director of Student Affairs Services (SAS), represented the university at the national gathering alongside Ms. Rhea Kate D. Dequiña, a scholar from CAPSU Pontevedra who was likewise recognized as one of the top ILP scholars.
During the opening ceremony, Ms. Dequiña was given the honor to deliver an inspiring message on behalf of the scholars across the country. She shared how the scholarship program made a profound impact on her life, providing opportunities that uplifted her family and encouraged her to pursue excellence not only for herself but also for her community.
