Capiz State University President Dr. Efren L. Linan led the university in welcoming tudents for Academic Year 2025-2026 through PAGSUGATA 2025, held on August 11 at the Dadivas Gymnasium, Roxas City Main Campus.
Organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) – National of the Main Campus, the program centered on Dr. Linan’s University President’s Report on Institutional Strength and Excellence (UPRISE), Building Momentum: A Year of Challenges and Progress. In his address, he highlighted the university’s accomplishments across its four-fold functions, shared his vision for the future, and reaffirmed his commitment to leading CAPSU toward continued growth and excellence.
Before leaving the podium, Dr. Linan called on students and faculty members to join him in moving forward to another chapter in CAPSU’s history.
“Hand in hand, let us move the resolve, unity, and unshakable belief that together, we can achieve greater heights for our beloved University.” He added, “With faith in our people and purpose in our mission, we will continue to lead, to serve, and to rise as ONE CAPSU,” Dr. Linan said.
The event culminated with ‘Pagkilala’, the formal introduction of key officials from the Central Administration and the Roxas City Main Campus administration.
