The 21 Indonesian exchange students had successfully completed their 28-day deployment as participants for the 10th Batch of the Southeast Asia (SEA) Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange Program. A closing and testimonial ceremony for the exchange students was held at the Capiz State University (CAPSU) Dayao Satellite College Covered Gym on February 20, 2025.

On February 20, 2025, Capiz State University actively participated in the Zonal Conference for Visayas on Program PROPEL, held at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus in Cebu City. The university was represented by Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, VP for RDE, and Mr. French A. Dampog, IPMO Director.

Linan warmly welcomed inbound Southeast Asia (SEA) Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange Project participants Zakiya Salsabila and Yocesi Khairunnisah Herdiansyah from Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi (UMKO) during a courtesy visit at the Office of the University President (OUP) in the Central Administration Building, CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus, on February 19.

CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan led the 2025 Special Joint Academic and Administrative Council Meeting today, February 19, at Dadivas Hall (formerly Dadivas Auditorium), CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus.

The Capiz State University (CAPSU) signed two memorandums with Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), one of the prestigious universities in Indonesia, on February 17, 2025 at the university’s Central Administration boardroom. A Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation and Exchange was signed with the Indonesian university and a Memorandum of Agreement on Faculty Exchange with the university’s Faculty of Medicine.

To formally welcome the participants of the 10th Batch of the Southeast Asia (SEA) Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange Project, the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs and Linkages (OVPEAL) organized a welcome ceremony at the Auditorium of Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main Campus on January 30, 2025.
