Seven academic programs of Capiz State University (CAPSU) are currently undergoing rigorous evaluation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) through its Online Accreditation Survey Visit today, August 27. The activity is being held at the Board Room of the Central Administration Building and the Accreditation Room of the Roxas City Main Campus, with simultaneous sessions conducted online.
Dr. Annalie G. Campos, Vice President for Academic Affairs, warmly welcomed the accreditors on behalf of University President Dr. Efren L. Linan. This was followed by the presentation of programs to be accredited by Dr. Rossandrew B. Villaruel, Director of Quality Assurance, who also introduced the AACCUP accreditors.
Speaking on behalf of the accrediting body, Dr. Reynaldo T. Gelido of Pangasinan State University delivered the statement of purpose. Meanwhile, Dr. Miraluna T. Sabid, Quality Assurance Chairperson of the Main Campus; Dr. Doreen D. Ata-al, Quality Assurance Chairperson of Dayao Satellite College; and Dr. Fe Mae L. Laborte, Quality Assurance Chairperson of Pontevedra Campus, introduced the members of the Local Task Force from their respective campus/college.
