The Capiz State University (CAPSU) received an approval from the CHED Regional Office VI as the Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) for the Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP).
A signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) took place at the CHEDRO6 office in Iloilo City on August 11, 2025. CHEDRO6 Regional Director IV Dr. Raul C. Alvarez led the MoA signing with Dr. Efren L. Linan, University President and Dr. Annalie G. Campos, Vice President for Academic Affairs, representing CAPSU.
A Certificate of Recognition was awarded to CAPSU attesting the CHEDRO6’s approval and in recognition of the university’s compliance with CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 09, Series of 2025, on the implementation of SIKAP program.
Dr. Paolo C. Cabanero, the SIKAP Permanent Alternate Focal Person of CHEDRO6 and Dr. Hazel D. Joaquin, University Director for Instruction, were also in attendance during the MoA signing.
