Capiz State University (CAPSU) forged two new international partnerships through signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Cheng Shiu University (CSU) and International Talent Circulation Based (INTACT Base), Taiwan. The MOU signing ceremony was held on August 8 at the Central Administration Boardroom, CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus.

CAPSU-DRRMO recognizes partners through PAGTAMOD program
The CAPSU Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) organized and hosted an appreciation program dubbed as PAGTAMOD on July 29, in celebration of the 36th National Disaster Resilience Month 2024.

PAGSUGATA 2024: Dr. Alfon welcomes CAPSUnians to academic year 2024-25
CAPSU President Dr. Editha C. Alfon officially welcomed the freshmen and returning students at PAGSUGATA 2024, marking the start of the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025. The said program was organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Roxas City Main Campus, held at the Dadivas Gymnasium on August 5.

Dr. Harold O. Buenvenida, a faculty member and faculty-in-charge of the Capiz Ecology Center at CAPSU Pontevedra Campus for having been bestowed as the first Dr. Leonard L. Co Memorial Post Doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Biology, University of the Philippines – Diliman.

CAPSU-IPMO, Engr. Oloroso are 2024 CSC R6 Pagasa Awardees
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office No. 6 announced on their official Facebook page on Wednesday, July 24, its regional winners of the 2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers – CSC Pagasa Award, securing two awards for CAPSU in both individual and group category.

CAPSU-FFRDC holds closing activity for Project RISE stakeholders
To recognize the people behind the Resilient, Innovative, and Sustainable Enterprises (RISE) project, one of the notable community-based projects of Capiz State University, the Fisheries and Food Research Development Center (FFRDC) held a closing activity through its Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) program, which took place at the covered gymnasium of Brgy. Navitas, Panay, Capiz, July 12.

Dr. Alfon heads the CAPSU delegation to Japan to promote international mobility
CAPSU President Dr. Editha C. Alfon along with Dr. Susan O. Dangan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Marien Laureto, Director for International and National Affairs under the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs and Linkages, went to Japan for an initial ocular visit to various partner agencies and industries at the Kagoshima and Satsuma Cho prefectures on June 24-28.
