CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus is undergoing a 5-day online accreditation survey by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) on its Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor in Public Administration programs.
An opening program via Zoom was hosted by CAPSU at the Central Administration Board Room on August 11, 2025. Dr. Rossandrew B. Villaruel, the University Quality Assurance Director welcomed the accreditation team on behalf of University President Dr. Efren L. Linan and Dr. Annalie G. Campos, the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The accreditation team is led by Dr. Josephine Diana S. Campos, from Bulacan State University (BSU). Joining Dr. Campos in her team are Dr. Joyce A. Bodah from Ifugao State University; Dr. Anita C. Sornito of University of Southern Mindanao; and Prof. Mary Chris A. Austria from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Cleo Jude A. Joaquin, Focal Person of the Roxas City Main Campus, also delivered a welcome message for the accreditors while Dr. Miraluna T. Sabid, the Campus Quality Assurance Director, introduced the local accreditation task force. Also in attendance were Dr. Ian B. Arcega, College of Management Dean; Dr. Angela Casios, Program Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy; and Dr. Donna J. Dividina, Program Chairperson of the Bachelor of Public Administration.
The online accreditation is taking place today until August 15, 2025. A preliminary online survey visit will be conducted for the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, and Level I accreditation for the Bachelor in Public Administration. It will cover ten areas – vision, mission, goals and objectives, faculty, curriculum and instruction, support to students, research, extension and community involvement, library, physical plant and facilities, laboratories and administration.
