Capiz State University (CAPSU) once again proved its excellence in the delivery of quality higher education as it emerged as one of the awardees in the 4th CHED Regional Quality Awards.

The awarding ceremony, held on May 28, 2025, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, Central Philippine University, Jaro, Iloilo City, is one of the highlights of the celebration of the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) 31st anniversary and the 5th Higher Education Day.

This year’s theme “Higher Heights in Higher Education” reflects CHED’s vision of pushing Philippine higher education towards greater heights in terms of innovation and global competitiveness amidst rapidly changing landscapes in technology and societal challenges.

The awards ceremony gathered leaders and stakeholders from different higher education institutions (HEIs) across the Western Visayas Region.

The CHED Regional Quality Awards recognized exemplary contributions and innovations in various areas such as instruction, research, and community extension.

CAPSU received the following awards:
