The Capiz State University (CAPSU) community proudly extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Efren L. Linan, University President, for being honored as the 2025 Distinguished SESAM Alumnus for Academic Leadership by the University of the Philippines Los Baños – School of Environmental Science and Management (UPLB-SESAM) and the SESAM Alumni Association (SESAMAA).
Dr. Linan, who earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science (2020) from UPLB-SESAM, was recognized for his outstanding academic leadership, commitment to educational excellence, and contributions to environmental research and sustainable development.
This prestigious recognition will be formally conferred during the 2025 SESAM Alumni Homecoming Symposium on October 9, 2025, at CAS Gallery 1-2, NCAS Building, University of the Philippines Los Baños.
