Students from the Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main Campus will receive funding from AMOMA Project Livelihood Program (AMOMA) worth one million pesos for their livelihood projects. This was presented by the representatives of AMOMA during their meeting and orientation with university key officials, student representatives and advisers on November 11, 2025 at the Central Administration board room.

AMOMA is a joint project of the Roxas City Police Station (RCPS) under the leadership of PLTCOL Ricard B. Jomuad Jr., together with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Capiz Field Office and other stakeholders. The financial support to the CAPSU students is through the SANYOG KABATAAN program under the Project KAPIS of DOLE and the Philippine National Police (PNP). The program aims to support less-fortunate but deserving students and out-of-school-youths.
PLTCOL Jomuad proudly announced that CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus has been selected as one of the program’s beneficiaries. He also gave a brief background on the history of Project AMOMA and its connection with the Project KAPIS of DOLE to the attendees.
Ms. Mary Chris Medina, DOLE Capiz Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) Focal Person, provided information on the key components of the program to ensure that the students understood the requirements, timeline and expectations. Trainings will also be provided to students to maintain the sustainability of their programs.
Both PLTCOL Jomuad and Ms. Medina encouraged the students to avail and capitalize on the opportunities that they will get from this grant.
Student representatives in attendance came from the College of Education (CoEd), College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT), College of Management (CM) and Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) department.
CAPSU key officials who welcomed the guests from AMOMA were Dr. Annalie G. Campos, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Atty. Toche Vic B. Doce, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Finance; Dr. Cleo Jude A. Joaquin, Roxas City Main Campus Focal person and Ms. Fe Lynn L. Linan, Executive Assistant III.
