The Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main Campus is hosting the “Dugong Bombo”, a nationwide blood donation campaign organized by Bombo Radyo Philippines. The event is being held today, November 15, 2025 at the Dadivas Gymnasium of the campus.
Dr. Cleo Jude A. Joaquin, the Focal Person of the Main Campus welcomed all the participants on behalf of the University President Dr. Efren L. Linan. Dr. Mary Paulette B. Martelino, the University Physician, is one of the medical doctors screening the blood donors. Dr. Arnel Van V. Aleligay, the University DRRM Director is also at the venue to provide support. The CAPSU Main Chorale also shared their world-class talent to entertain the volunteers and the organizers.
Officers and cadets of the Roxas City Main Campus ROTC Unit are volunteering to donate their blood. Employees of various government agencies and private individuals are also at the venue to donate their blood and support this noble cause.
