Capiz State University (CAPSU) marked a momentous occasion by feting its successful examinees of the October 2025 Fisheries Professional Licensure Examination (FPLE) during the Pasidungog 2025 ceremony, held on December 11, 2025, at the Dayao Satellite College Covered Gym.

The university’s pride was amplified by Mr. Christian O. Jimenez, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Batch 2025 from Dayao Satellite College, who achieved the Top 10 place nationwide with a rating of 88.50%.

As a reward for bringing honor to CAPSU, Mr. Jimenez received a check amounting to fifty thousand pesos (₱50,000.00) from University President Dr. Efren L. Linan.

A total of 20 CAPSUnian graduates from Dayao Satellite College successfully passed the board exam, including eighteen first-time takers. They were each presented with a certificate of recognition and a token of gratitude by President Linan and Satellite College Director Dr. Nilo D. Delfin.

Also present to extend their felicitations were Dr. Annalie G. Campos, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension, and Dr. Joselito C. Sitjar, Dean of the Fisheries and Food Technology Department.

The performance of graduates from CAPSU Dayao Satellite College was exceptional, garnering an institutional passing percentage of 74.07%. This significantly surpasses the national passing percentage of 69.61%.
