Capiz State University (CAPSU) successfully underwent a rigorous ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit conducted by auditors from NQA Global Assurance on January 27, 2026. Following the assessment, the auditing body confirmed CAPSU’s continued compliance with international quality management standards.
The NQA audit team was led by Mr. Rannie Bernardino, with Ms. Khen David and Ms. Patricia Tabuton as members. The comprehensive audit covered the university’s Central Administration offices as well as selected campuses and satellite college.
The audit formally commenced with an opening program held at the Central Administration Boardroom. CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan addressed the attendees, expressing his administration’s firm commitment to excellence across all areas of university operations.
“At CAPSU, our commitment is clear and steady—to deliver quality education, uphold good governance, and pursue continuous improvement in all that we do…This surveillance audit is an important milestone, not only because it validates our compliance, but because it strengthens our culture of excellence. It provides a structured opportunity to confirm that we are doing well,” Dr. Linan said.
Demonstrating institutional support and commitment, key university officials, office directors, campus administrators, satellite college directors, and campus Quality Assurance (QA) Chairpersons were present during both the opening program and the closing meeting.
After evaluating administrative and academic processes across the University, Mr. Bernardino presented the audit team’s consolidated findings. On behalf of the auditors, he congratulated CAPSU for successfully passing the audit and recommended the renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The ISO 9001:2015 recertification affirms CAPSU’s steadfast commitment to delivering quality services and ensuring that its processes consistently align with international standards. The university’s efforts reflect its collaborative spirit and dedication to continuous improvement and adherence to quality assurance protocols.
