In celebration of ASEAN’s 58th Founding Anniversary with the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” the Central Administration of Capiz State University (CAPSU) held a brief program today, September 1, at the Board Room, Central Administration Building. The event was spearheaded by the Human Resource Development and Training (HRDT) Office headed by Dr. Ronilo G. Berondo.
Representatives from the different offices of the Central Administration showcased their ASEAN-inspired attire — not only to mark the occasion, but also to raise awareness and highlight ASEAN’s shared values, history, and aspirations.

Prof. Davidica L. Avelino, Director of Alumni and Community Affairs of the External Affairs and Linkages (EAL) Office, and Mr. Kevin D. Besana of the Accounting Unit were hailed as Ms. and Mr. ASEAN of CAPSU Central Administration, respectively.
Meanwhile, Ms. Kareen Cullen Luza and Mr. Lanel Jann Aregora of the Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Office earned the Best ASEAN Costume award. Ms. Mikaela Caragos of the General Services Unit and Mr. Joebert N. Ira of the Procurement Unit bagged the Best in Production/Introduction award.
Through this initiative, CAPSU fosters an inclusive community that embraces diversity and strengthens its commitment to regional unity.
