Capiz State University (CAPSU) once again proved its excellence in the delivery of quality higher education as it emerged as one of the awardees in the 4th CHED Regional Quality Awards. The awarding ceremony, held on May 28, 2025, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, Central Philippine University, Jaro, Iloilo City, is one of the highlights of the celebration of the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) 31st anniversary and the 5th Higher Education Day.

Capiz State University recently embarked on a heartfelt journey to Hiroshima University in Japan, with a dedicated delegation that included Engr. Rowen G. Gelonga (Director, DOST Region VI and BOR Member), Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi (VP for External Affairs and Linkages), Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar (VP for Research Development & Extension), Dr. Stephanie S. Pimentel (Research Director), and Dr. R Jun Frederick G. Gaspe (Hiroshima University Alumnus). The visit, which took place from May 19 to 25, 2025, was driven by a shared desire to foster enriching academic and research partnerships.

The Capiz State University (CAPSU) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with SeeMeSOL, a provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) talent and recruitment management solutions, to boost student and alumni employability. The Capiz State University (CAPSU) celebrated its 21st anniversary, marking more than two decades of academic excellence and quality service since its conversion in 2004. The event brought together university personnel at the Dadivas Gymnasium, CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus, on March 21, 2025.

The Capiz State University (CAPSU) has achieved another milestone with the awarding of six Certificates of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIndTech) program of the Roxas City Main Campus.

The 21 Indonesian exchange students had successfully completed their 28-day deployment as participants for the 10th Batch of the Southeast Asia (SEA) Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange Program. On February 20, 2025, Capiz State University actively participated in the Zonal Conference for Visayas on Program PROPEL, held at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus in Cebu City. The Capiz State University (CAPSU) signed two memorandums with Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), one of the prestigious universities in Indonesia, on February 17, 2025 at the university’s Central Administration boardroom. A Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation and Exchange was signed with the Indonesian university and a Memorandum of Agreement on Faculty Exchange with the university’s Faculty of Medicine.
