CAPSU, DOST formally launch 2 laboratories, 1 R&D center in Mambusao

Capiz State University (CAPSU), in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the DOST Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), formally launched two laboratories and one research and development (R&D) center in Mambusao, Capiz, on September 29, 2026, bringing the University’s research and technology initiatives before farmers, students, researchers, partner institutions, and other stakeholders.

The facilities are the QualiSafe Laboratory at the Mambusao Satellite College, the i-Lab ProMaTech Laboratory at the CAPSU Burias Campus, and the Machinery and Agricultural Technology Engineering Center (MATEC), which serves as an institutional R&D center of the University.

In a historic milestone in preserving the rich cultural heritage of Panay and Guimaras, Capiz State University (CAPSU), in partnership with the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), hosted PAGBUKLAD (Promoting Authorship, Gathering Booklovers, Unveiling Knowledge, Literature, Art, and Dreams), where it officially launched and turned over the Cultural Mapping of Panay and Guimaras (CMPG) Project book and two other cultural publications, Sugilanon: Capiz Folklore and Mga Duog sa Capiz.
