Capiz State University (CAPSU) showcased its technological prowess by securing third place in the prestigious Agri-Tech Innovate: Accelerating Digital Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture & Fisheries Ideation Workshop, held on March 24, 2025, at Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U). Organized by the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI), the competition gathered the brightest minds in Region VI to develop digital solutions addressing challenges in the agriculture and fisheries sector.

BTLED studs win best business model canvas at 2024 Provincial Agri-Fishery Achievers Awards
Four teams consisting of seven Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) students from the College of Education (CoEd) at Capiz State University (CAPSU) – Roxas City Main Campus were recognized for their innovative business concepts. They bagged the Best Business Model Canvas during the 2024 Provincial Agri-Fishery Achievers Awards, an awarding ceremony which celebrates the top 10 young agripreneurs of the Agri-Fishery Innovation Challenge.

Dr. Linan awarded as Outstanding Mambusaonon in the field of Education and Agricultural Biosystems Engineering
The Municipality of Mambusao awarded Dr. Efren L. Linan as Outstanding Mambusaonon in the field of Education and Agricultural Biosystems Engineering. The award was bestowed upon Dr. Linan on November 18 at the Angeles Lema Villareal Cultural Center in Mambusao, Capiz.
