The Central Administration personnel of Capiz State University (CAPSU) enjoyed a brief pause as they availed themselves of free salon and wellness services during the Gender-Free Glow-Up Party: A Day of Ultimate Pampering spearheaded by the Office of Gender and Development (GAD), led by Dr. Jesusa L. Luda, Officer-In-Charge of the GAD Office.

Held today, May 6, at the lobby of the Central Administration Building at Roxas City Main Campus, the event marked the culmination of CAPSU’s celebration of this year’s National Women’s Month. It also served to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of the Central Administration workforce, regardless of gender.

The free salon services were provided by the Beauty Care and Wellness Technology students of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIndTech) program of the said campus, under the supervision of Prof. Nelma P. Delos Santos, along with Prof. Marivic S. Estorninos, Prof. Rose-Ann D. Buco, and Prof. Aileen Atalisay. Meanwhile, body massage services were offered by Dina Delfin, a private physical therapist.

Throughout the event, Ms. Cylinch B. Clavaton and Mr. Ed An John M. Tuting of the GAD Office ensured the smooth facilitation of activities, contributing to the overall success of the activity.
