Roxas City, Capiz, January 15, 2026 – The Capiz State University (CAPSU) Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) convened a conference on the Revised Annual Procurement Plan on January 15, 2025, at the Central Administration Boardroom.

Presided by BAC Chairperson Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, the meeting focused on streamlining the university’s procurement preparation and processes. The initiative ensures strict compliance with the timelines and requirements mandated by R.A. 9184 (Government Procurement Reform Act) and R.A. 12009 (New Government Procurement Act).

The conference saw active participation from administrators, college directors, and budget, accounting, and procurement officers from the university’s nine campuses and satellite colleges.

Key presentations were delivered by BAC Vice Chairperson Dr. Elnora T. Lariza, BAC Member Dr. Matilde A. Perez, and Procurement Unit Head Ma. Rhenee Ann G. Peniano. They provided vital guidelines for preparing and processing procurement documents and addressed specific queries from the attendees.

Also present were Atty. Toche Vic B. Doce, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, and Ms. Fe Lynn L. Linan, Executive Assistant III, both of whom provided valuable feedback and insights throughout the discussion.
